All the fittings and habaki that you see on these swords are made from sterling silver by quality silversmiths. The Tsuka is tightly bound in black leather over quality rayskin. The Sayas are constructed from wood and finished in a matt black lacquer.  These swords are the real things, not replicas.  They come with a Live Blade capable of cutting through Tatami Omote with one strike.
